The Opening of SBomb Vintage Workshop
After 8 months of hard graft, long nights and a few blisters SBomb opened its doors to the public on the 29th April 2017. What started out as a place to hang out and have coffee, quickly changed when we were being asked to host parties, hold events and the workshop was rapidly filling daily.
Titch's Workshop Dream
SBomb was the brain child of Titch Cormack. Retiring after 21yrs in the military in 2016 he set about finding a premises to build his motorbike dream. Everything within the building came from a vision in his mind, he created the spaces, thought of the interior and set about making a place for like minded people to congregate and share their enthusiasum for all things vintage, quirky and artisan.
2017 at SBomb
2017 was a whirlwind of photoshoots, private parties, magazine interviews, ride outs and filming along with many cups of coffee, all of this in our 1st 6 months.
SBomb features in Built Magazine
The summer saw us have a 5 page article in the highly acclaimed Built Magazine. having only worked off word of mouth getting our name out, this put us on the map in Dorset and across the South Coast.
Rolling Rogues and Distinguished Gentleman's Ride
In September a local film makers and videographers, The Rolling Rogues, hosted an event bringing together local start ups and creatives for a night of serious networking and wild partying. Off the back of this event we were asked to participate in a short film for the charity Distinguished Gentlemans Ride, never one to miss out on an opportunity being in front of the camera Titch was more than happy to step up and be involved in a fantastic cause.
The SBomb Christmas Party
We ended the year on high with a christmas party with local band Jak The Lad playing, beer flowing and lively crowd dancing the night away. We then shut our doors until January and started work on the next phase of SBomb......
